Melinaea is a British built Folkboat with a long coachroof and no dog house. She has been recently cruised extensively on the East and South Coast of England, France, Belgium and Holland.

The legendary Folkboat class has an enviable reputation for performance and sea-worthiness and has an enthusiastic world-wide following.

She has looked after us well on our adventures and we are sorry to be parting from her. Although many people have circumnavigated the world in a Folkboat, we are now wanting to do more extensive blue water cruising and would prefer to do it in a bigger boat!

Some Logs of her voyages can be viewed on www.zingtang.co.uk/sailing

Update 20 May 2004 - Melinaea is freshly painted, varnished, serviced and launched, ready to go for the sailing season.
